Please take time to visit the link to the newly created Kentucky Academic Standards (KAS) Family Guides developed to help familiarize all stakeholders with the content of each grade level’s standards. Each guide contains a standards overview for Reading & Writing, Mathematics, Science and Social Studies showing what is expected in the content of each grade level. Hopefully, these will help everyone be more informed about what level of work to expect and to know what to ask at parent-teacher conferences. Included are examples of what work should look like at each grade level and these will help parents and guardians know what to ask the at home.
