Guiding Children - Inspiring Futures

A United Community Guiding All Students to Become Responsible, Productive Members of a Changing World

Solar Eclipse Information

Parents, Students as many of you are aware, Monday around 2PM there will be a celestial event that occurs a few times around the world, but only once in a lifetime in our particular part of the world.  That event is a total eclipse of the sun.  Our part of the state isn’t in the path for the total eclipse, however it will be partial and visible to anyone viewing.  The safety of your children and our students is our highest consideration when planning our day.  With that in mind, Morgan County Schools will be cancelling classes/school for Monday August 21st.  There is information on our website that has activities and educational material for your children for the days event.  We look forward to getting back to school Tuesday and will work diligently to teach your children to become the best students they can be.
